I wanted to just take a moment to remember a very inspirational young man who passed away one year ago today and who raised millions for the Teenage Cancer Trust, Stephen Sutton:
His trademark “thumbs up” even when he was faced with the prospect of dying inspired us all, and I for one was heartbroken when I heard that he’d sadly passed away from bowel cancer, aged just 19. He lived more in his short life than many of us who live to a ripe old age.
I also want to say to those who doubted him and who demanded their money back that they had donated because it looked like he was well and recovering, yet he died just a few days later, shame on you.
RIP Stephen Sutton, I’m giving you a big thumbs up today, you will never be forgotten xxxx
