I don’t ask things like this very often, but would you all consider nominating me for a MAD Blog Award for “Frankie’s Legacy” run by Tots100 in the “Blog Of The Year” and “Best Writer” categories?

Info is on this link – http://www.tots100.co.uk/2015/…/06/the-mad-blog-awards-2015/

NOTHING can bring my Frankie back, and I wish he was with me more than anything in the world, but I want to raise as much awareness as possible through his legacy to raise awareness of cleft lip/palate, early pregnancy loss/stillbirth/neonatal death and rare chromosome disorders, and being nominated in awards like these are a great way to spread the word about “Frankie’s Legacy” and to raise that much needed awareness. My overall focus is now on raising as much awareness as possible of these things through Frankie’s Legacy, and launching a new campaign called “Communication Matters”, which will promote the importance of excellent communication between healthcare professionals and parents to be, especially when bad news has to be given.  This is an area that is woefully lacking within the NHS, and my aim is to provide training and guidance to NHS professionals to help them deliver sensitive or bad news in a caring and easy to understand way.

I don’t think it needs much of a reminder, but below is the reason why I am very kindly asking you to consider nominating me to help me raise more awareness through this blog and the work that I’m doing:
